What is kraft paper?
The papel de straza, papel madera or papel kraft, is brown, rough and thick paper. It is made with chemical paste, unbleached and subjected to a short cooking. It is very resistant to tearing, traction, bursting etc. Its number is derived from the German, where Kraft means strong.
Traditionally it has been used as wrapping, in shopping bags, sacks, packages or for the manufacture of packaging.
